I really enjoyed the story of the German family. I have lived in Howell County my whole life (44 years). It really caught my attention driving along and hearing it mentioned on the podcast. I had heard the story but only faintly remembered it. I'm curious now if I can find the exact location of their homestead here for those 2 years. Thanks for the podcast, love them all, they help the miles go by hauling cattle to the Feedyards on the high plains.
Curious if you would do an episode about the logistics of shipping that many cattle over rail during the cattle drive era. As a second generation livestock hauler, how they shipped that many cattle on rail with that equipment is unimaginable to me. Thank you.
